Ingredients for this Recipe

  • 3 or 4 cup short grain rice
  • 1 cup onion (finely diced)
  • 4/5 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon saffron threads
  • 200/100g fresh shrimp or you use frozen shrimp ( you use peeled and deveined shrimp)
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups boneless chicken breast ( you cut into 1 inch pieces)
  • 1 spanish chorizo
  • 1 cup red pepper
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • Salt and black pepper (to your taste)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 cup peas
  • 5 strips roasted red pepper
  • 200g chopped tomato
  • Fresh Parsley leaves (chopped the leaves)

How to make this recipe?

This is a very testy recipe then how to make this recipe below the instruction – 

Step- 1

First you take all the ingredients in your kitchen, then you take a small bowl of chicken and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Mix the ingredients very well and marinate the chicken marinated for 20 minutes and set a side. 

Step- 2:

Now you take a frying pan and put this pan on to the olive oil, when you heat the oil then you fry the chicken. You cut this boneless chicken per 1-inch. You stir gently when you see chicken is brown then you take out the pot. 

Step- 3

Now you also take a medium frying pan onto 3 tablespoons of olive oil and when the oil is heated then you add garlic cloves and stir gently and then add onion, tomato and red bell pepper. When you see that these ingredients are fried then you add short grain rice, paprika frying chicken and stir it. Now you add chicken broth and add salt to taste and add saffron and cover it and bake for 20-25 minutes. 

Step- 4

After 20 minutes you open the cover and add shrimp and green peas, roasted red pepper and also cover and continue for 10 minutes. When rice and shrimp is boiled then you add lemon juice and take down this dish on the plate. When you garnish this recipe then you add chopped parsley and serve with lemon if desired. 

Recipe Notes

This recipe if you want to make it more special than you can use cooking broth for Paella. You use one container of chicken broth or you add saffron because this is included in the paella broth.

I use short grain rice for this recipe but you can also use long grain rice made for this paella recipe. Or you can buy this rice then you find it on Amazon. 

You can use saffron opposite seasoning because if you do not find saffron then you use a seasoning mix that is easy to buy in any grocery store.

You can use some mussels if you want after the shrimp. 

I use this recipe for a 14-15 inch larger skillet but you also can use paella pan because it is depending on the configuration of your burners so you will have to move and rotate the pan to distribute the heat.
